Black Bear Pass

Black Bear pass is a mountain pass located at 12,840 ft in San Juan County, Outside the beautiful town of Telluride.
To access this Trail, you first turn off 550, Million-Dollar Highway, From Ouray CO, that’s where The trail Begins.The trail is a

bumpy dirt road, with steep ascent. There are no real technical or hard obstacles until the descent on the telluride side.
When the descent begins, the trail begins to become a little rougher.
About 1 mile before Ingram falls when the one-way sign starts, it becomes more technical. Having a spotter over these technicalities would be advised unless you have experience.

Remember
Stay the Trail, if you are less experienced travel with a buddy, be well equipped and have fun. There are some

notable off-road maps that can be used as well
